1. What kind of life was it like in the 1970's in during the war?
Life for the women was that they weren't out side of their house that much, so they were housewives. Also most families spent most of their time in front of their time watching the news.
2. How were the Vietnamese affected during the war?
Two million Vietnamese lives were taken through out the war. Also the area that the war was on, was destroyed bit by bit. Most of the rural villages in South Vietnam were destroyed and families were separated.

The largest type at that time was a nuclear family

In the states, the war deeply affected the country. First off, the political parties were falling apart at that time. Also, the majority of Americans hated this war because of how useless the war was for us. Since people hated this war so much, people protested all through out the country. Finally, this was the first war that was broadcasted nightly for updates on the war.
